Are you interested in becoming an instructor at MISSA? In early fall the MISSA Board of Directors starts planning the workshop program for the following summer to be able to have the new classes posted to the website in January/February of the new year. Exact dates are unfortunately not guaranteed from year to year but typically fall between the last weekend in June to the first week in July.
MISSA 2019: June 22 – July 5 (Celebrating 35 years!)
Teaching contracts are offered on a per workshop basis and are not an assurance of year-to-year employment. Workshop proposals must be submitted each year. We prefer that instructors new to MISSA start with a two-day proposal. Instructors receive an honorarium and all meals and accommodation are covered. Economy travel and supply expenses are to be discussed with MISSA.
If you are interested in becoming an instructor at MISSA, please consider the following:
1. You will need to include a brief bio with teaching, education and reference details
2. Short course proposal (2-day or 5-day) Class size is limited to 12 students and classes run 9-4 each day.
3. Contact info and website details (Please note that a website or equivalent web presence is a must.)
Accepting proposals for 2019 is now closed. MISSA does however, accept proposals throughout the year. Please do not apply during our busiest season of May, June or July.
For future proposals, please apply using the form below:
We look forward to hearing from you for MISSA 2020 and beyond!
