Are you interested in becoming an instructor at MISSA? In early fall the MISSA Board of Directors starts planning the workshop program for the following summer to be able to have the new classes posted to the website in February/March of the new year. To help build excitement about your workshop, social media announcements will be made as instructor contracts are signed.
MISSA Summer Program: July 29 – August 12, 2022
Teaching contracts are offered on a per-workshop basis and are not an assurance of year-to-year teaching. Workshop proposals must be submitted each year and are the first step to being accepted. If your proposal is accepted, you will be asked to complete a more detailed workshop form. We prefer that instructors who are new to MISSA start with a two-day proposal. Instructors receive an honorarium and all meals and accommodations are covered. Economy travel is covered for out of town instructors and supply expense reimbursements are to be discussed ahead of time with MISSA.
An updated Instructor FAQ sheet will be made available shortly.
If you are interested in becoming an instructor at MISSA, please consider the following:
1. You will need to include a brief bio with teaching, education and reference details
2. Short course proposal (2-day or 5-day) Class size is limited to 12 students and classes run 9-4 each day.
3. Contact info and website details (Please note that a website or equivalent web presence is a must.)
Please consider teaching at MISSA next year. We look forward to hearing from you for MISSA 2022 and beyond!
