
This is a 5-day workshop. All classes run 9 – 4 pm each day with lunch included from 12 – 1 pm.
This workshop will explore the various methods of ceramic relief making. From one-of-a-kind wall pieces to relief
work for use in hand built pottery. Learning about foreshortening, shadows, disappearing edges while
creating figurative, scenic and abstract imagery all while having fun in a positive and supportive
classroom.

Elaine Brewer-White is a ceramic sculptor with over 35 years working in clay. Her work has been shaped by her life experiences. Early in her career she was also an improv performer and teacher, and is married to Gordon White, a Cirque du Soleil clown. Her work has a sense of joyful absurdity and often starts with the question 'what if?'
