Mary-Jean Smith

Mary-Jean, a nurse by training, was inspired to make a homemade art card for her niece’s birthday during the pandemic. After picking up a beautiful roadside garden bouquet, she was inspirited to start sketching flowers and painting in watercolour. She has always admired the art of Japanese watercolour flowers, especially the work of artist Tomihiro Hoshino.
Mary-Jean wanted to bring more colour and joy into the world and is excited to share her art with others.
