About the Event
Join Brad Schwieger for an all-encompassing artist talk, workshop, and a brief studio and collection tour along with moderated Q & A throughout! Schweiger is an accomplished potter and educator, participating in over 300 exhibitions and teaching some of the best artists in American Ceramics for over 30 years.

Schwieger will demonstrate his throwing and altering techniques and how he facets forms to create beautiful, gestural vessels, both functional and sculptural. This workshop is suitable for artists of all levels and questions are encouraged. Bring a snack and your favorite beverage (Brad will likely have a cold one right beside him) to enjoy during this workshop experience!

Instead of focusing on the loss of the hands-on experience, this event has been curated around the idea of gaining access to experiences we would normally miss, such as the artist’s studio and life. Wooten Clayworks has partnered with several ceramic and art centers and organizations to help provide quality educational resources and bring a sense of community back to our lives in the best way we can.
