New for 2022, the MISSA Summer Program will take place on a 300 acre campus adjacent to Shawnigan Lake, on Vancouver Island, Canada. The school campus, with its dorms and classrooms are set amongst tall trees, manicured flowers and shrubs and ponds. The beauty of the natural environment makes for a magical place to gather almost 400 artists every summer to share in community and be inspired.

“MISSA allows artists to be fully creative and free, to find their voice in a supportive and exceptional community… and to share their experiences, techniques and stories of how they found the MISSA magic.”

Off-Campus Accommodation

While we strongly suggest staying on campus to soak up the full MISSA experience, but some people choose to make their own off-site accommodation arrangements.

It is important to note that off-site accommodation does not include a MISSA breakfast or dinner. Meal tickets will need to be purchased from the MISSA front desk if you wish to have breakfast or dinner on campus. Course tuition includes daily lunch and snacks.
