Tracy creates her acrylic paintings in her studio in the Comox Valley, near the Puntledge River.
Her paintings are loosely referenced from photographs and sketches of places she has explored, mostly in her home environment, Vancouver Island. The dynamic and accessible scenes she creates, lead the viewer to consider how nature and our inner worlds are connected.
Tracy has worked as a professional artist and drawing teacher for the past 20 years and her artwork is exhibited in many gift shops and galleries - she also has a successful online shop. Besides painting, she enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, backpacking, gardening, and reading. Tracy also writes a monthly blog where she further reflects on her artistic process and shares her connection to the outdoors.
