Renée Duval graduated with honours from Emily Carr College of Art and Design in Vancouver (1986) and received her M.F.A. from Concordia University in Montreal (1991) Renee has taught painting and drawing for 30 years and was the Curator/Exhibitions Director of the McClure Gallery in Montreal for 25 years.
She has exhibited throughout Canada as well as in the U.S. and France and she has a number of works in both public and corporate collections. Duval has received numerous grants from the Canada Council for the Arts as well as the Conseil des Arts et des Lettres du Quebec.
