Michelle Gazely is a Canadian artist based in northern British Columbia. Born in Vancouver, she moved to Langley, where she spent her childhood.
Always passionate about art, she received a Fine Arts Diploma from Kwantlen Polytechnic University and a Graphic Design & Illustration Diploma from Capilano University. After graduation, she spent fifteen years working as a graphic designer and commercial photographer.
In 2014, Michelle moved with her family to the Bulkley Valley. After years of not painting, this new landscape of aspen forests and snowy winters inspired her to pick up her brushes and paint.
Michelle has taught adults, teens and children's art workshops since 2016. Sharing her skills and knowledge with encouragement and enthusiasm brings her joy.
Michelle is grateful to live, work and play in this beautiful, inspiring place on the unceded, traditional Territory of the Gidimt'en clan and the Witsuwit'en people.
