Louise is a Vancouver born and internationally trained clay and bronze sculptor. She has created commissioned portraits for the Catholic Church and the Vancouver Law Courts. Last year she was a finalist in their members only competition and placed within the top 100 portraitists in the International Portrait Competition held by the American Portrait Society. 

She trained in Fine Arts at Vancouver Community College, studied in Italy with the University of Georgia, and completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts from York University in Toronto. She has studied with the Society of Portrait Sculptors in England, and at the Florence Academy of Art. 

Louise has also attended classes in Forensic Reconstruction with Karen T. Taylor in the US. Her reconstruction work was featured in an exhibition about Tom Thompson for the 100th anniversary of his death. She teaches occasionally in her studio at 1000 Parker Street in Vancouver, or as a guest artist. She exhibits her work in Vancouver including the Ian Tan Gallery on Granville Street.

Louise is a Registered Art Therapist with a Masters level diploma from the Toronto Art Therapy Institute.
