Kerry Pagdin is an artist and college instructor from Nelson, BC.
Kerry received her BFA in Visual Arts from the University of Victoria, where she majored in Painting and Art History; she currently teaches in the School of the Arts at Selkirk College and is a printmaker operating under the company name Wayward Citizen. Since 2018, Kerry has been creating original linocut prints from a studio on her small family farm. Her work is inspired by her rural upbringing, and a deep connection to animals and nature.
Kerry’s work explores natural architecture – pinecones, animal skulls and feathers, as well as images of animals and themes of life and death.
