Joe Batt is a Professor of Art at South Puget Sound Community College in Olympia, Washington. He has also taught at California State University, Chico, The University of Montana, and Lower Columbia College in Longview, Washington. Recent workshops include MISSA, Arbutus Folks School, and Lower Columbia College.
Joe has given artist lectures at The Northern Clay Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, The Dunedin School of Art in Dunedin, New Zealand, and at Washington State University Tri-Cities, in Richland, WA. His figurative ceramics sculptures have been exhibited widely in solo and group exhibitions.
