Jeff de Jong works as a Horticulture Instructure. He currently teaches classes at the University of Victoria in the Continued Education Department. He has taught a wide range of classes over the past 23 years. The UVIC created a Course with Jeff specifically focused on Landscape Design. Jeff has a passion for Garden Design. He has won several Awards for his efforts.
He attributes his success for landscaping by his love for painting Water Colours.
Jeff has focused his creative painting efforts on Botanical Illustration. This realistic approach to illustration painting allows for creativity and a real sense of pleasure. However, there are expectations that a Botanical illustration should have. The final result will be as close to the actual flora or fauna subject. It’s a beautiful and thoughtful process.
