DIANE LADE - Instructor at MISSA 2020

Diane maintains a visual art practice in drawing and printmaking at errantArtspace in Victoria BC. Diane uses recycled, bio-degradable and found materials and non-toxic domestic processes to make works on paper, within the themes of memory, loss, impermanence, and the transformation of letting go.

She studied primarily at Vancouver Island School of Art, also with printmakers Jenn Whittaker-Robins and Marina DiMaio, and mixed media artist Orly Avineri. Diane is inspired by the physicality of the work of Eva Hesse, and ecoprint artist India Flint.
