
Cathi has exhibited nationally and internationally, with her work featured in numerous publications including Robin Hopper's Functional Pottery and Phil Roger’s Salt-Glaze Ceramics. She has attended residencies at Archie Bray in Montana, the Banff Centre and others in the US and abroad. In 2010, she was awarded the Carter Wosk BC Achievement Award for Applied Art and Design.
Cathi Jefferson has been creating salt fired stoneware for more than thirty years. Her new studio and gallery is located in the heart of the beautiful Cowichan Valley on southern Vancouver Island near the town of Duncan. Surrounded by parkland and on the banks of the Cowichan River, her studio and gallery are open to the public and are a must see if you are in the area and are interested in fine pottery. You will find finely crafted functional pottery as well as beautiful unique sculptural pieces, all inspired by the wonderful natural setting in which they were created.
