Ailsa Brown embarked on her art studies at the Chelsea School of Art in London, England where she found inspiration through firsthand exposure to the city's abundant museums and galleries. After completing her initial year abroad, she returned to Vancouver, BC, earning her diploma at the Emily Carr College of Art and Design, where she delved deeper into her passions for painting and ceramics.
Following her formal education, Ailsa has actively participated in numerous painting and pottery workshops. Over the past 25 years, she has shared her expertise, teaching pottery wheel throwing and decorating workshops fuelled by her love for teaching.
Ailsa has showcased her artwork in numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout the years, garnering recognition and appreciation. Presently, she dedicates herself to her creative endeavours, passionately creating art from her studio based in Delta, BC.
