Ann has taught many workshops throughout Canada, mostly in the Okanagan and the Lower Mainland. She
teaches two to three workshops each year at Dene Croft Studios in North Vancouver, B.C. She also teaches for
the Federation of Canadian Artists, both online and in person. She has also had the privilege of being
asked to be an instructor two seperate years at their five day Plein Air Retreats in the Caribou, typically
attended by 60 students and four instructors.
She taught for Phoenix Art Workshops in Steveston, B.C., the Prince Rupert Community Arts Council
as well as at my studio in Lake Country (Okanagan), B.C.
She is presently doing an online mentorship for our local chapter of the Federation of Canadian Artists
(FCA) , and has done mentorships for the Vancouver FCA online as well.
She has received major awards for my plein air work, including first place at the Elora Plein Air Festival, 2018 in Ontario, third place in the 2017 Bragg Creek, Alberta Plein Air Festival.
She is a Senior member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and an Associate Member of the Oil Painters of America.
