A Message from the MISSA Board of Directors
Dear Valued Students, Instructors and Friends of MISSA,
It is with a heavy heart that the Board of Directors has come to a decision to postpone this years on campus MISSA 2021 offering. With the uncertainty of COVID-19 and the current vaccination program underway, we felt there would be insufficient time to organize, even a reduced version of MISSA for this summer. There have been so many uncertainties with this pandemic and Pearson College too has cancelled their summer programming. We are very much appreciative of your continued support of MISSA and we plan to be back in 2022 to offer on campus classes again.
In the meantime, the Board and our Executive Director are working at bringing you some virtual options to allow you to continue to grow artistically and to let us connect as an Artistic Community. Continue to check out the MISSA web site as we role out options. There are plans for opening an on-line shop for Friends to sell their artwork and we are creating a platform for on-line workshops in our Workshop Marketplace. Due to the success of the MISSA MAGIC Fall Fundraising Auction, it is our intention to hold another auction in the spring – stay tuned! We want to thank all of you for you continued support through these very difficult times.
