Mixed Media & Nature

Thank you for your interest. This workshop had to be cancelled due to low registration.

WEEK ONE (5-day): June 24 – 28, 2019   Classes run from 9 am – 4 pm daily and students are welcome to stay late in their studio.

Mixed Media & Nature

Nature is the inspiration and source of this mixed media course where you will be encouraged to freely combine natural materials and original prints into exciting mixed media artworks. Students will start with capturing the memory of collected natural materials using low-tech printmaking techniques and create colourful original monoprints. These prints will then be combined and encased on a wooden panel or in a shadow box using acrylic paint and mediums using the various collected natural materials such as bark, leaves, seeds, eggshell and sand.

All levels welcome
