HEATHER SPEARS: Life Drawing

All working artists struggle to be more creative.  This course will tackle what people are up against through unique working exercises, that explain what is going on during the act of drawing. The course offers 2 days of intensive drawing from a life model and offers practical solutions that will help any artist draw better as well as overcome unhelpful drawing habits and common preconceptions. Time for free drawing as well.

This is a unique opportunity to experience the teaching of the Denmark-based Canadian artist, poet and novelist.  Heather Spears is a renowned drawing instructor and regularly teaches in Europe and America.  This course is based on her book The Creative Eye.: drawing, vision and the brain.

Being willing to take risks, rather than being good at drawing, is the important thing, – and learning that one can make new choices about paying attention.

Course Fee: $280  Supply Fee / Modelling Fee: $ 40
