Stand and Deliver: Building Confidence and Ease in Performance

Stand and Deliver: Building Confidence and Ease in Performance

This is a 2-day workshop.  Classes run 9-4pm with lunch included.

Participants will explore and develop a 1 – 2 minute performance piece using a story, poem or monologue of their own choosing.  They will learn how to relax, be playful and develop trust in the creative dramatic process and in using their own authentic voice. Using group and individual dramatic techniques and exercises, vocal and breath work, Kate will encourage and help build performance skills, stage awareness and confidence so that each person will be able to stand and deliver this performance piece before a small studio audience at the end of the two day workshop.
