Lumen Prints: Photography without a Camera

In this workshop, the lumenprint (cameraless photograms) image making process will be explained and demonstrated. There will be an opportunity to participate in the printmaking process beginning with gathering materials, composing images, developing prints and sharing feedback among participants.

PHYLLIS SCHWARTZ

Phyllis Schwartz is a multi-disciplinary artist and curator who works in photography, ceramics, and publishing. She is an Emily Carr University of Art + Design graduate with a concentration in photography and the recipient of the Canon Photography Award. Her photography has been installed, exhibited and published locally, across Canada and internationally; her works are in corporate, public and private collections.

REFUND POLICY:

If you need to make a cancellation, please complete MISSA's on-line cancellation form. Phone or email correspondence will not be accepted.

BEFORE June 1: For each course withdrawal, a refund for tuition and any applicable supply fee will be issued, minus a $50 administrative fee.

June 1 – July 15: For each course withdrawal, a tuition credit for MISSA 2023 will be issued, minus a $50 administrative fee. Any applicable supply fee will be fully refunded.

AFTER July 15: Course withdrawals made after this date are not eligible for credits or refunds.

If MISSA must cancel a workshop, students will be offered an alternative workshop. If the 2022 program is completely canceled due to COVID restrictions, a full refund will be given (tuition, supply fee and accommodation) or a MISSA credit will be offered.

ACCOMMODATION
On-campus accommodations may be cancelled at any time prior to arrival and will be refunded, less a $50 deposit fee, via Paypal within 30 days after receipt of the cancellation request form.

Refunds will be issued within 30 days of confirmed receipt of MISSA's online cancellation form and will be processed through PayPal.
