Have you been playing the same 10 chord shapes for years and years? Do you want an easy way to gain some new sounds and explore the territory above the 3rd fret? This workshop is an opportunity to make exciting music and get to know your neck without using wrist-twisting bar chords or random sounding scales. Together, we will learn to play chord progressions on the top strings of the guitar, using manageable grips to play any song in any key. Once you get the hang of a few 3 and 4 note chords you can use them to add interest to any song, and as a platform to play melody and chords together, and to solo or fill without hitting bad notes.
