This is a 2-day workshop. All classes run 9 – 4 pm each day with lunch included from 12 – 1 pm.
This class will focus specifically on drawing the human head and features, exploring techniques that emphasize three-dimensional form and structure.
Throughout the course, participants will learn how to observe and understand the anatomical features of the head, including skull, facial muscles, and proportions. You will study light and shadow to create depth and volume in your drawings. Through demonstrations and under the guidance of instructor David Hunwick you will develop your skills in observation and drawing producing a series of study drawings.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced artist looking to enhance your drawing skills, this class offers a unique opportunity to explore the sculptural approach to drawing the human head. Join us for an immersive and inspiring learning experience.
