This is a 5-day workshop. All classes run 9 – 4 pm each day with lunch included from 12 – 1 pm.
This 5-day workshop is an opportunity for you to explore deeper into the SAORI philosophy. It is
designed for those with previous experience with SAORI weaving.
Each morning, we will cover new SAORI weaving techniques. The rest of the day will be open for
weaving, making warps and also for clothing design – whatever you choose. Support will be given on
any or all of these things while trying out different fibres and colours!
A wide variety of materials will be provided for you to use. You will bring your own SAORI loom,
warped and ready for weaving. For those travelling and not able to bring a loom, I will have a limited
number available to rent (please inquire).
Price: $1005
This price includes: tuition, daily lunch, material fees (if required), any applicable taxes and is listed in Canadian Dollars.
Since first coming across SAORI weaving, Terri Bibby has immersed herself in the philosophy and practice of SAORI. The freedom, the colour, the textures and the beautiful philosophy of SAORI was life-changing.
