I have taught over 20 beading workshops at various venues including: Emily Carr University of Art and
Design, Craft Council of BC, The Polygon Gallery, and Simpcw First Nation. These workshops have
covered many different forms of beadwork and are open to all skill levels, though most of my students are
beginners. My workshops are typically aimed at youth and adults.
I have consistently received good feedback from both my students and the venues on my teaching
abilities, and all parties share a high level of satisfaction upon completion of the workshop. Each of the
venues mentioned above have had me back for multiple workshop sessions, or have expressed interest
in inviting me back in the future.
In my professional work I run an annual film education program aimed at emerging artists. My job is to
support up to 14 artists at a time as they learn how to create their own short films (many of whom are
brand new to filmmaking). I work with them over the course of 7 months to guide them through the entire
process, starting with ideation and ending with a completed film.
