Sasha Mirzoyan is an artist, illustrator, creative coach, and an adjunct professor of art and illustration at the University of Arkansas in Little Rock. His journey began in Khabarovsk (Victoria’s twin city), in the Far East of Russia, after his family fled Azerbaijan at the dusk of the Soviet Union.
After receiving five years of traditional art he was given an opportunity to attend Pearson College, where he focused on portraiture and oil painting. Finishing his International Baccalaureate in 2006, he was then admitted to historic Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri, where he expanded his artistic talents into business, marketing, and design. In his senior year he received a private scholarship to attend a study abroad program at Florence University of the Arts in Florence, Italy. He holds a Masters of Fine Arts in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
