SASHA MIRZOYAN - Instructor at MISSA 2020

Sasha is currently serving as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, teaching Basic and Figure Drawing, as well as Illustration classes.

He is originally from Khabarovsk, in the Far East of Russia. His journey abroad began with attending Pearson College, one of the United World Colleges, in British Columbia, Canada. He holds his bachelors in International Business, and Marketing from Westminster College (Fulton, Missouri); and he received his MFA in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design.

 

With an extensive artistic background, he spent the last 25 years expanding his traditional skills into illustration, graphic design, marketing, business, and teaching. His artistic focus is portraiture and figure drawing, but he also enjoys sculpting.

Sasha’s mission is to help others develop artistic and creative skills, so they can express their full potential. In his unique teaching approach, he helps his students not only develop strong foundational skills but more importantly a life-long growth mindset.
