Sandra immigrated to Canada from the US 45 years ago. She homesteaded in the BC Rocky Mountains, where she built a log house and studios, gardens and orchards. For the last 30 years she’s lived on Galiano Island in the Gulf Islands of BC where she works in a log studio and runs a clay gallery on her land.
She’s gone to Japan and studied meditation and made pots at a Zen temple for over 10 years, as well as traveled throughout the States and Canada teaching and learning from numerous wonderful potters.
