Professional jewellery artist, Julia Lowther, was raised in Monteverde, Costa Rica, and has been teaching jewellery classes both nationally and internationally for over 20 years.  An active member of the vibrant Pacific Northwest metals community, she has studied and worked with many internationally recognized jewelry artists including Mary Hu, Komelia Okim, Doug Harling, and Megan Corwin. 

Lowther's jewelry is comfortable, chic and stunning. Her work has been published most recently in the books: 500 Gemstone Jewels; Chain Mail Jewelry; Wrap, Stitch, Fold & Rivet and Art Jewelry Today 4. She lives and works in Seattle, WA.
