Cheryl Jacobs has been teaching and creating jewellery for the past 32 years, apprenticed in California with a well-known goldsmith in the early 80's. She has been teaching at NIC metal jewellery design program for the past 7 years as well as Argentum jewellery school in Victoria, Nides in Courtenay as well as various recreation centres up and down Vancouver Island and various high schools.
She has a line of jewellery that is sold at craft fairs such as the Filberg Festival, Circle Craft the One of A kind Show in Vancouver and also displays her work at galleries in Vancouver, Victoria, Courtenay and across Canada. Her passion is teaching and she loves to pass the knowledge forward and enjoys the challenge of teaching this complex artform.
